I'm planning to assist Kit in baking a cake. I could read a recipe and memorize it no problem, but that does not account for skill and experience.

Kit wants to bake it himself, but I wish to be prepared in aiding him, so I would like an understanding of your approach. I can think of no one else more qualified.

Goodness, Espio, thank you! That's so kind of you to say! I'll do my best to give you some pointers and tips. Baking is a science, but it isn't difficult if you have the right tools! Did he specify what kind of cake he was hoping to bake?

I don't know how successful I have been. I feel as though I'm often fighting with Surge than I am befriending her, but I think there's been progress. I just wish I could encourage them to trust more people.

I provided a few different recipes, but I'm going to encourage that we try to make one with three different flavors. I don't think anyone knows what her favorite flavor will be so if we could somehow make it a strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla cake, that'd be optimal. Perhaps that is too bold for a pair of amateurs?

[Amy is going to find something in the kitchen of her home the morning of Christmas that wasn't there before. Sitting on the counter was a small basket full of baked sweets, and underneath that, a cookbook for baked goods. Whoever left it didn't bother to wrap up the gift and just left it there in the open to be seen. There is no note left behind to determine who put it there in the first place either.]

[Should have been obvious when a certain annoying blue hedgehog hasn't been annoying for awhile. Shouldn't have become reality. Or perhaps it's for the best the hedgehog isn't here anymore. Though he can't confirm if he actually got sent back home, which troubles him. And then there's the situation with Eggman. What will the doctor do once he realizes his "nemesis" has gone missing?

Why the hell has she not repaired her home yet?!

He left her alone, expected she get the help she needed to get the home patched up and yet...it's still in disrepair a month after what happened. How annoying. He would have continued on his business with this knowledge annoying him in the back of his mind, but recent events have led him back here again, at her home.

He adjusts the scarf around his neck, standing on the pathway leading to the front door. He shouldn't. She needs to learn to live her life without him. But she's without her companions staying with her anymore. He clenches his left hand, scowling as he finally stops standing in one place and stomps up to her door. He doesn't knock, his ears twitching instead to listen for any sounds coming from within the home.]

[ What he will hear is pretty simple: the sound of furniture getting dragged around. She's rearranging things-- with Sonic and Tails gone, it's been uncomfortably quiet and almost unbearably lonely. Their sudden departure has been a pretty big hit; she'd looked for them for days but they seem to have vanished into thin air. Just like Surge and Kit.

The house is a reminder of their presence. So, she's preoccupying herself with moving things and making the house a little bit different. Also, because while repairs haven't started, arrangements have been made and she's trying to make things easier. ]

... [There's movement of furniture? He continues to listen, but doesn't hear anything else that stands out...the hand that was about to knock, lowers. There's no need to add to her troubles if she's busy. He'll instead start to walk around her home, to look at the damage that still needs repairs.
